Commissioner calls for meeting with Lloyds Bank

Although we understand that Lloyds Bank have apologies for not accepting a Welsh UCAS form as proof of ID, we have asked the Bank for a meeting to discuss the issue and how to move forward.

We will also use the case to remind high street banks of the official status of the language in Wales and the need to offer Welsh services and respect the language choice of customers.  We have established a forum with high street banks to concentrate on developing and improve their Welsh language services.
