The Welsh Language Commissioner published the Rights Taking Root report in October 2017. The report points towards evidence that Welsh language services are improving where organisations are implementing the new Welsh language standards. The Commissioner wants to find out if this is the experience of people in different parts of Wales.
The Commissioner is giving people the opportunity to have their say about how satisfied they are with the Welsh language services offered by councils, health boards and other public organisations. Are things improving? Could organisations do more to ensure that people can receive Welsh language services without hassle?
The Commissioner’s officers will hold a series of group discussions during November, in the following locations:
20/11/17 Glasdir, Llanrwst
23/11/17 Caffi Alys, Machynlleth
27/11/17 Neuadd Cawdor, Newcastle Emlyn
The group discussions will be held through the medium of Welsh, and there will be no simultaneous translation.
If you require any information about these events, please contact the Commissioner’s office: or telephone 0345 6033 221.
