Complaints about the Welsh Language Commissioner


The following information is only relevant should you wish to complain about acts or omissions relating to the exercise of the Welsh Language Commissioner’s functions (i.e to complain about something the Commissioner has done or not done).
You can contact the Commissioner to express a concern or to submit a complaint regarding the service provided.

  • By telephone
  • Speak to a member of the Welsh Language Commissioner’s staff who deals with complaints, stating that you wish the complaint to be dealt with formally
  • Send an e-mail
  • Write a letter

Complaints about the actions of the Welsh Language Commissioner will not be accepted via any social networks.

This procedure has been prepared in accordance with Section 14 of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.
